Discover Ossiano at Atlantis, The Palm this summer
SPECIAL GASTRONOMIC MENU FOR AED 550
Atlantis, The Palm has just introduced a special gastronomic menu that guests and visitors can experience at Ossiano this summer. This unique experience is perfect for gourmets looking for a culinary journey or friends looking to discover new epicurean delicacies and can be enjoyed for AED550 per person, including expertly paired wines.
Chef Santi Santamaria looked to his Catalan roots and love of fresh seafood to design the menu. The gastronomic menu for summer will be a set menu of 5 courses. The menu begins with Hamachi tartare; the beautiful fish- mild, sweet, and buttery is served over a bed of Granny apple and lemon sorbet. The dish is perfectly paired with Sauvignon “Lahn” from Italy as the wine properly highlights the aromas and flavours of green fruit and has a great citrus acidity.
The journey continues with Octopus “A Feira” with potatoes. The delicate octopus remains tender and the potatoes soak in the flavours. The traditional Spanish dish is served with Albarino “Leira” from Spain. Guests can then enjoy the freshest scallop, prepared with summer truffles and wild asparagus. The course is served with Chablis, Domaine Vrignaud, from France.
Guests then have the choice for their main course, either King Prawns or Wagyu Beef. The prawns are served with one of Chef Santi’s own wines, Chardonnay “Finca Montagut” from Spain. The Wagyu Beef is paired with Coffinet Morey’s Burgundy from Chassagne Montrachet.
This special menu is available until 30 September 2010.
